Raising Awareness of Communication Difficulties among children in NI Schools.

Buddychat is a fantastic new scheme set up by Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists to raise awareness of communication difficulties among children in NI Schools. The scheme needed a strong, friendly identity to appeal to children, teachers and parents alike.

Create a fun, engaging brand image and strategy that includes the children we’ll be focussing on across the scheme. Using illustration and colour signal to parents, kids and the teachers that Buddychat is friendly, modern and here to help.

Bespoke Design

We held a number of focus groups with the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists in determining the best starting point for the identity. Our discussions lead us towards the illustrative approach more so and we generated the characters based on age and profile that Buddy Chat was aimed towards.

Buddychat is a bright, fun brand identity that communicates across the plethora of target audiences set by the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. Striking the balance between positivity and seriousness we feel the brand stands alongside the other fantastic schemes launched by RCSLT. We loved every minute of the process and look forward to working with the RCSLT again in the future.
