Coffee, Brunch and Bakes.
Canteen opened just at the beginning of the summer on the Ormeau Rd. Belfast. High-end Coffee, Brunch and Bakes are on the menu, but it’s much more than a trendy new watering hole. The location is so well positioned that Canteen becomes a part of life in this fantastic part of Belfast.

To stand out on a road famous for food and drink Canteen required an original direction, palette and vision. They needed a brand identity that didn’t shout too loud but was loud enough to be heard in this busy area of town.
Process
Bespoke Design
We surveyed the competitors across Ireland and overseas and worked closely with the owners to craft the new direction. Many mood board sessions and focus groups delivered a fantastic, collaborative identity for Canteen. We had 3 designers working on concepts and the vision for the business and continue to deliver menus and marketing collateral as required.
Solution
Brand Identity
Canteen is a modern yet traditional, undefinable location that can be summed up best once you’ve been there for some coffee, brunch or bakes, it really speaks for itself. The identity is now a part of life on the Ormeau Rd and we continue to work with the owners as it continues to succeed.
